I've actually been a Deviant member since 2003, I just chose to make a new gallery because the old one was ... well, full of crap.
I live in England - in the boring flat part, unfortunately. I am a dedicated and slightly obsessive Sherlockian (as you may have noticed by the name - if you, too, are on the same levels of geek that I am. Also, this gallery was created on what is, according to Baring-Gould, Holmes' 155th birthday), I adore Unicorns, consider heavy horses to be the ultimate in equine beauty and it is my lifelong dream to be a published author someday. I have owned my 25-year-old pony mare, Pepsi, for 12 years since rescuing her from slaughter. She taught me how to ride by throwing me off so many times I learnt to stay on!
I am a supporter and member of the Countryside Alliance, The Shire Horse Society, Pro-Test, The Woodland Trust and the Rare Breeds Survival Trust. I am also an official member of the Sherlock Holmes Society of London. :3 *geeks*
Mostly, I use this gallery for (my amateur attempts at) photography - but I'll sometimes upload art or, even rarer, prose.

Facebook disabled my account because I have a "fake name" apparantly ... thanks for the warning, guys. o_O I can only assume it's because I'd set my middle name as Trollface ... except that I set it like that almost a year ago, and haven't changed the name since. And NOW I'm not allowed to use Facebook?! I had to send them an e-mail with my actual name and my "primary use of Facebook". Oh, for organising world terrorism, of course.
So I have nothing better to do than pretend to write stories and ... spam here.

So I've just returned from almost 3 weeks in Spain; it was only supposed to be a fortnight, but thanks to Iceland's volcano, our stay was extended somewhat!
I have an awful lot of photos to upload over the next few days ... or next few weeks, depending really. Mostly animals, but a few seascapes and landscapes too. Heee.
Also, I've now FINALLY got to see the new Who. I thought Matt Smith was magnificent! I am something of an old school Who fan (Jon Pertwee, the third Doctor, will always be my favourite), but I loved what Russell T Davies did with it and Steven Moffat's role looks pretty damn good too (love the Moffat; has anyone here seen h
